There will be a wide variety of delicious homemade soups, salads, and desserts along with a raffle of assorted items donated by local businesses.

 

Cost:  Adults $8, children 12 & under $5, family of four or more $20

Raffle tickets:  one ticket $1, six tickets $5

Empty Bowls Fundraiser Dinner

In the Northport Public School auditorium lobby

 

A delicious soup and bread feast with live music! This dinner is part of Abby Van Dusen's senior project and all proceeds will be donated to the Fresh Food Partnership, an organization devoted to getting locally grown produce into area food pantries. Call Abby at 271-4903

Memo from Cecilia Kohler, a senior student at Northport Public School:

 

For my senior project, I have chosen to landscape an area of the school grounds. So far, I have completed a garden with the generous help of some community members. I am currently working on finding ornamentation to enhance the garden as well as adding a brick patio, so that people will feel invited to enjoy the space.

 

To raise the funds necessary to complete the patio this Spring, I am mounting a "Buy a Brick" campaign. A $5 donation will buy one brick and pay for its installation. Contributions will be acknowledged on a plaque placed in the garden.
